Institute of Hydrobiology (IH) is one of the institutes associated in the Biology Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in České Budějovice. A characteristic feature of IH is complementarity experimental work and field research with regular long-term monitoring of selected Czech reservoirs, which allows differentiation of phenomena occurring at different time scales.
